It has been a long time since we’ve been able to see our students’ faces -- excluding Zoom calls, of course! I would like to personally welcome everyone back, and thank you for the hard work you completed wrapping up the previous school year. While we are still in the midst of this pandemic, the High School faculty and staff has been busy working on creating a safe environment for our students that still gets them excited to learn with their peers.

It can be difficult to persevere and stay positive through a time like this, which is why our mission, “to equip and inspire students to fulfill their individual purpose in life,” means more now than ever. This is why we are introducing and implementing our Future Ready Graduate (FRG) Skills and tributes to our HS staff and students, with the goal being to think about life after graduation, not just life up until.

We are also including a couple new courses. Check them out below:

  • “Madison Media,” a student centered course where students create a weekly news show, with the first episode airing this week!

  • “Senior Internship,” a class that allows seniors to obtain a job in the local community and focus on what it’s like to have an internship.

This may be an unusual year, and one no one expected – but we know our staff and students will be working together to meet the challenges and continue to keep learning on track. We can’t wait to see what this school year holds for our students!
