Permanent Improvement Plan
Posted on: June 6, 2022
There are 3.7 mills earmarked for Permanent Improvement in Madison Local Schools. These funds are used for capital improvement projects, maintenance and repairs of school property and to purchase equipment that will last five years or more. Ohio law prevents these funds from being used on staff salaries or benefits. Madison will use Permanent Improvement funds for two projects over the summer, the first of which is the replacement of the track and the second of which is the repair and stripping of the district blacktop. No General Fund money will be used on these projects.
