It is good to be back! I’m excited to serve the Middle School in my new role as Principal – and in the middle of a global pandemic, no less!

Since it’s impossible to have pre-prepared for COVID-19, our Middle School staff has been brainstorming for the past four months on how to ensure our students can learn in a safe, healthy environment. We have been working diligently to provide our students with the best education possible, adding new members to our team, adding electives to keep our students excited and engaged, and following COVID-19 safety guidelines per state requirements. By adding new personnel and new electives, we are able to keep a better handle on the number of students in each classroom at any one time.

Here are a few of the new things we’ve added for the 2020-2021 school year:

  • Welcome to Michael Bos, teaching Challenge Based Learning for grades 6, 7, and 8

  • Kelly Stolz, high school French teacher, is teaching French Culture for grade 6

  • An additional art class has been added for grade 6, taught by Chelsea Higgins

We will continue to adapt and evolve as we move through this unusual year. Our team is working to do whatever we can to keep our kiddos safe and in school.

Once again, welcome back – we are thrilled to see everyone!
