Madison Middle School

As the school year wraps up, our Madison Middle School has managed to stay busy doing great things! We are always impressed with the creativity and ingenuity of our teachers in ensuring our students are engaged and excited within their classrooms.

Check out what the Middle School has been working on:

  • MMS has received a $500.00 mini-grant from High Schools That Work to aid their project “Build a Rocket” for next year. High Schools That Work is the nation’s first large-scale effort to jointly engage the cooperation of state and school leaders, aiming to improve how students are prepared for work, careers, and further education by enhancing curriculum and instruction and high school and middle-grade levels. Check out photos from this year’s “Rocket Day!,” hosted by Mr. Melampy and his 8th graders.

  • The Middle C.I.A. (Community in Action, or PTO) partnered with the Middle School Student Council and held their first Luau on Thursday, May 6 -- it was a huge success! A shout out to Noah Crim for being the DJ, and the Student Council and C.I.A. for hosting the dance.

  • Our Middle School Awards are approaching! Awards will be held during the school day, recorded, and uploaded to Youtube for your viewing. Each grade level will have their own day, schedule seen below:

    • 6th grade - Monday, May 17

    • 7th grade - Tuesday, May 18

    • 8th grade - Wednesday, May 19
