Introducing Madison High School Assistant Principal

Posted on: October 16, 2020

We are happy to welcome Valerie Jones as the new Madison High School Assistant Principal. Ms. Jones has been with Madison Schools since 1994, where she began her teaching career as a long-term substitute teacher. Since then, she has taught in grades 5-8 and held several other positions like coach, Union Vice President, and chairperson of Madison’s local professional development committee.

Ms. Jones has lived in the Butler County area nearly her entire life. She graduated from Edgewood High School, received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Xavier University, and her Master of Educational Leadership Degree from Miami University. In her free time, Ms. Jones enjoys being outdoors in her garden, hiking, kayaking, and riding her bicycle. She is also an avid reader.

“My goal as Assistant Principal of Madison High School is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that is both safe and respectable, in order for your every student to receive the best possible academic instruction,” says Ms. Jones. “It has truly been a pleasure to serve as Madison High School Assistant Principal so far this year.”

We are happy to have you, Ms. Jones!
