Madison Football Coach - UPDATE

The Madison Athletic Department had 34 official applicants for its Varsity Head Football Coach opening. This list was cut to nine qualified applicants by the Athletic Department Search Committee. All nine applicants were interviewed by Athletic Director Darren Stevens and High School Principal Justin Smith. After these interviews, four lucky candidates (listed below) were chosen to interview in front of the Athletic Selection committee. This committee is made up of several stakeholder representatives such as coaches, teachers, board members, parents of athletes in the program, athletic booster members, and community members.

The committee will meet with all four candidates this Tuesday (March 18th) to provide input to the Athletic Department before a final decision is reached. If a clear candidate does not emerge from the committee, a final interview with the Administration will take place.
