O.K. Klafter Nursing Scholarship The scholarship is valued at $1,500 for a student entering a nursing program. The applicant for this scholarship: 1) must be planning to become a registered nurse; 2) must be a resident of the greater-Middletown area, 3) must be accepted at an accredited 2-year school of nursing before the scholarship funds will be awarded, or students who attend baccalaureate 4-year programs must be enrolled in a degreed nursing program; and 4) the applicant must have a serious interest in pursuing nursing as a career. The James A. Combs Memorial Scholarship The scholarship is a one-time payment of $1,500. The applicant for this scholarship must: 1) be a resident of the greater-Middletown area, and 2) must be accepted at an accredited 4-year college or university. Madison Band will offer a Waffle Breakfast for Champions! Saturday, March 6, 2010 7:00am-10:00am Madison Junior/Senior High School Breakfast Tickets: $5/person
The breakfast will precede the Girls Varsity Basketball tournament game at 11:00am.

Due to the success of our high school girl and boy’s basketball teams, we have decided to alter our parent/teacher conferences to reduce potential conflicts between conferences and the tournament games.
We are moving this Thursday’s conference night to Tuesday, March 23 and next Thursday, March 18 conference to Tuesday, March 30.

This program allows students to take college courses while they are in high school for which they receive high school and college credit.
According to Miami University Middletown, the student must have a 3.25 GPA and is no longer required to take the ACT.
The state deadline for submitting an "intent to participate" form to your high school is March 30, 2010. This form is available in the guidance office.
