It is with excitement and enthusiasm that I start my fourth year as athletic director at Madison. Many changes in the district have created some new challenges for the athletic department. By effectively working with the administration, coaches, community, and youth groups we hope to meet these new challenges head on. We strive to meet our high expectations and continue the standard of excellence from all of our athletic programs and athletes.
The Madison Athletic Department offers a variety of opportunities in the field of athletics. Through extra-curricular activities, our students have the opportunity to learn about sportsmanship, teamwork, work ethics, sacrifice, dedication and perseverance. Student success academically and upon graduation can be directly linked to their participation in these activities and these attributes. We feel that these experiences play a vital role in the total educational process and the individual growth of our students.
We thank all of the community (parents, coaches, Madison township residents, and students) for all of the loyalty and support for Mohawk athletics. Your continued support will help us continue to be successful, both on and off the field.
