Madison Mohawks ❤️ a happy ending!

Recently we received a phone call from states away that a class ring was found in an old box and it appeared to belong to a Madison graduate from the class of '86! Tracey Retherford, our new front desk secretary at the high school, took the call and using the initials engraved inside the ring and the new Class Photo Wall she identified a potential match. From there, we reached out to several Ray Hatfield's in the area and today we found the rightful owner! After nearly 30 years, the lost ring is being mailed back to Ray Hatfield, Madison Class of '86. #goodtobeamohawk

Solar Eclipse Viewing at Madison Local School District

Solar Eclipse Viewing at Madison Local School District
On August 21, 2017, (our first Monday of the 2017-2018 school year), Madison Local School District will be near the path of a total solar eclipse. This event is being called “The Great American Solar Eclipse,” because it is the first time since 1918 a solar eclipse will be visible on a path across the entire continental United States. To celebrate this event, MLSD has purchased eclipse-safe viewing glasses for all students and staff from the reputable vendor Rainbow Symphony. We will participate in educational activities during the day and view the eclipse during school hours.
